Finance Officer at PalmPay

As a Finance Officer, you will be saddled with the responsibility to:

Ensure that all expense tickets are processed and paid within 3 working hours of receipt to aid the preparation and readiness of the management account.
Ensure that all taxes (WHT) are correctly remitted promptly on all OPEX tickets
Spool first draft of Cash GLs on the first working day of every month.
Collect and review all bank statements weekly and monthly
Support monthly bank reconciliation of accounts domiciled with the finance department
Carry out any other function as directed by the line manager

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
Professional accounting qualification or progress toward one (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
