We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion.
The successful candidate will oversee planning, budgeting, procurement, consultants, contractors, site teams, quality, safety, and project delivery, with hands-on responsibility for achieving project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from inception through completion.
Develop, implement, and monitor project schedules, budgets, cash flow, and delivery milestones.
Coordinate architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, site supervisors, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Provide effective leadership and direction to project and site teams.
Monitor project progress and ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines, budgets, and specifications.
Ensure quality control and compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, and industry standards.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements across project sites.
Manage procurement activities, including sourcing, supplier coordination, and cost optimization.
Review project costs and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
Support contract administration, variations, claims, and other project-related contractual matters.
Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly project progress reports to management and clients.
Identify project risks, delays, and potential challenges and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
Liaise with clients and key stakeholders to provide updates and resolve project-related issues.
Ensure proper project documentation, records, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements & Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant project management experience, with 10–15 years preferred.
Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects valued above ₦500 million.
Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, procurement, cost control, and contract administration.
Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams comprising architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, site supervisors, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
Strong understanding of construction processes, project controls, quality management, and site operations.
Proficiency in project scheduling and management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost optimization.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Professional Certification & Membership:
Membership of relevant professional bodies is required or strongly preferred, including:
Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB)
Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)
Project Management Institute (PMI)
PMP certification is an added advantage.

What We Offer
Competitive Salary of N500,000 – N700,000 monthly, commensurate with experience and expertise.
