The Lead, Maintenance (Power Plant) plans and coordinates maintenance activities, identify equipment requirements, maintain an efficient and accurate records of departmental technical information for the achievement of company’s goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Assists in scheduling all planned maintenance activity at the site.
Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and engineers to ensure the efficient operation of the power plant.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to production processes
Oversee the inspection, repair, and maintenance of power plant equipment, including boilers, turbines, generators, compressors, and electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues.
Ensure all equipment operates within safety and efficiency standards.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Qualification
First degree or its equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Power Engineering
Professional certification and membership e.g., COREN/NSE are added advantage
Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience with at least 3 years in senior management level.
Experience in FMCG industry, especially food and beverage, is required
