Job Summary
The Site Inventory Officer is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and keeping accurate records of construction materials, tools, and equipment at the project site.
The role ensures proper inventory control, minimizes material wastage, and supports smooth construction activities through efficient store management.
Key Responsibilities
Receive construction materials and verify quantities and quality against delivery notes.
Store materials properly to prevent damage, theft, or deterioration.
Issue materials to site personnel only upon authorized requisition.
Maintain accurate records of all materials received, issued, and remaining in stock.
Conduct daily and weekly stock counts and reconcile inventory records.
Monitor stock levels and notify the Site Engineer or Procurement Officer before materials run low.
Ensure tools and equipment issued to workers are properly documented and returned.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the site store.
Report damaged, expired, missing, or obsolete materials promptly.
Assist in monthly inventory audits and stock verification exercises.
Ensure compliance with company inventory procedures and site safety regulations.
Perform any other inventory or store-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements
Minimum of OND or HND in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
1–3 years' experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Officer, or Site Store Assistant, preferably within the construction or real estate industry.
Basic knowledge of construction materials and site operations is an added advantage.
Ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.
