Shift: Full-Time Days, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm Primary Job Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed: Minimum Qualifications: Associate of Science degree in Nursing (ASN) Current State of Florida or Multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Minimum of six (6) months previous Registered Nurse experience Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills) Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) One (1) or more years of Registered Nurse experience in an acute care hospital setting in a Progressive Care Unit Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
