Kentucky, Norton Children?s Medical Group and The University of Louisville School of Medicine are seeking a strategic leader to serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology for the University of Louisville School of Medicine and Co-Director of the Norton Children?s Heart Institute. Norton Children?s Heart Institute at The University of Louisville – Best Children’s Hospital in Kentucky (U.S. News and World Report 2024-2025) 300-bed Level I Pediatric Trauma Center on the same block as state-of-the-art multidisciplinary outpatient office building. Fully integrated academic clinical care model focused on translating clinical research to state-of-the-art bedside care 70+ providers serving 19 locations across Kentucky and Southern Indiana 20+ multidisciplinary clinics Research opportunities with resources available through Norton Children?s Research Institute, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine The Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology will: Advance the program to the next level by constructing and implementing strategies for programmatic growth across clinical, educational, and research programs Continue building upon a dynamic team of over 40 cardiology providers, providing mentorship to junior faculty members, and growing the team to meet clinical access needs As Co-Director of Norton Children?s Heart Institute, build and maintain strong collaborative and collegial relationships with Cardiac Surgery, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiac Anesthesiology divisions Leverage a national/international reputation to advance the profile of the Heart Institute and achieve recognition as one of the premiere institutes both regionally and nationally Reach out to Dirk Jansson at dirk.jansson@jacksonphysiciansearch.com, or (470) 374-2705 for more details!
