Programme Associate (G-6) at UNICEF

Plays a catalytic role in supporting federal, state and local governments in identifying key bottlenecks that hinder realization of the rights of disadvantaged children, supported by equity-focused, inclusive advocacy, planning, action and monitoring at all levels.
Supports adolescent development.You will bridge operational delivery by liaising regularly with multiple units—Programme, Operations, Finance, Supply—and with external partners (government ministries, NGOs, donors).
Under the supervision and guidance of the Health Manager for HSS cluster of Health Section, you will provide specialized programme and administrative support to facilitate the development, implementation and monitoring of UNICEF's programmes. The role involves substantial engagement in data analysis, budget tracking, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and compliance with organizational rules. You will exercises judgment, anticipates needs, and recommends actions that contribute to programme planning, implementation and reporting results.

Minimum requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary education is required.
Work Experience: Minimum 6 years of administrative or clerical work experience is required.

Desirables:
Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language
Professional and/or university courses related to the field of work are highly desirable.
Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
