We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our healthcare team.
The successful candidate will ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications, provide pharmaceutical care, and support optimal patient outcomes while complying with all regulatory and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
Counsel patients on the proper use, dosage, storage, and side effects of medications.
Monitor medication therapy and provide pharmaceutical recommendations to healthcare providers.
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
Manage inventory, including stock control, expiry monitoring, and procurement.
Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives.
Supervise pharmacy interns, technicians, or support staff where applicable.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care.

Requirements
Education:

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from a recognized institution.

Experience:

1–3 years post-qualification experience in a hospital or community pharmacy is preferred.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) or pharmacy information systems is an added advantage.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service and patient counselling skills.
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy management systems.

Other Requirements:

Current license to practice issued by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
Valid annual practicing licence.
Strong commitment to patient safety and quality healthcare.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays where required.
Must possess excellent ethical and professional conduct.
