Install, splice, terminate, test, and maintain fiber optic cables and related equipment.
Carry out FTTH installations, activations, and customer migrations.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fiber infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve fiber faults, outages, and connectivity issues within agreed SLAs.
Conduct fiber testing using OTDR, Optical Power Meter, Light Source, VFL, and other testing equipment.
Interpret fiber network diagrams, splice schematics, and route plans.
Perform fiber cable jointing, ODF termination, and patch panel management.
Ensure proper cable routing, labeling, and documentation of all installations.
Respond promptly to network faults and emergency maintenance activities.
Prepare and submit installation, maintenance, and fault resolution reports.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards during field operations.
Coordinate with the NOC, Project, and Customer Support teams to ensure timely service delivery.
Maintain assigned tools, test equipment, and company assets in good working condition.
Provide technical support during network expansion and upgrade projects.
Train and guide junior engineers or technicians where required.
