The Montessori Teacher is responsible for implementing authentic Montessori principles to nurture the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of young learners in a prepared learning environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement Montessori-based learning activities.
Prepare and maintain a stimulating Montessori classroom.
Observe, assess, and document children's progress.
Foster independence, creativity, and self-directed learning.
Maintain positive communication with parents.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
Participate in school events and professional development.
Education
Bachelor's Degree or NCE in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
Montessori certification is highly desirable and will be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a Montessori or Early Years setting.
Experience implementing Montessori methodology is preferred.
