Job Summary
The Electrical Technician at Dangote Cement Plc is responsible for performing routine maintenance, installation and repairs to electrical power, motor, motor control circuits etc on the various plant machines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance which includes but is not limited to the following: fault analysis, component replacements, alignments and calibration, repairs, installation of new control circuits, modification of existing instrument/electrical systems as requested, fault analysis of PLC based systems with control logic modification if required.
Perform install of electrical machines/ equipment using prescribed blueprints, schematics, manuals, or other specifications installation procedures.
Develop or modify industrial electronic devices, circuits, or equipment, according to available specifications.
Carry out all tasks in compliance with all Management Systems.
Carry out all tasks in compliance to Plant safety regulations.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineer/ Shift Engineer.
Requirements
An Ordinary National Diploma or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
A minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience.
Good practical and technical skills.
An understanding of engineering drawings and principles.
Communication skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
