Job Summary
The Human Resources Officer (Contract) will provide comprehensive HR support across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, compliance, and policy implementation.
The role is responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day HR operations
Key Responsibilities
The Human Resources Officer (Contract) shall be responsible for:
Coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, screening applications, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, preparing employment documentation, and facilitating onboarding and induction for new employees.
Maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee records in both physical and electronic formats.
Preparing HR documentation, including employment contracts, confirmation letters, promotion letters, salary review letters, contract renewal letters, warning letters, and other employment-related correspondence.
Administering employee leave records, attendance, probation schedules, and other HR administrative processes.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
Contract Terms:
Initial contract period of six (6) months.
Renewal is subject to satisfactory performance, operational requirements, and management approval.
Either party may terminate the contract by giving the required notice in accordance with the terms of the employment contract.
