We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Medical Doctor to join our clinical team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment, and upholding the hospital’s core values of responsiveness, teamwork, efficiency, innovation, ethical practice, and social responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough medical assessments, examinations, and diagnosis of patients.
Prescribe appropriate treatments, medications, and management plans.
Admit, manage, and discharge patients appropriately.
Perform minor medical and surgical procedures as required.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, laboratory scientists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies.
Participate in ward rounds and clinical meetings.
Educate patients and families on preventive health measures and treatment plans.
Adhere strictly to hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Participate in continuous professional development and hospital training programs.
Education & Professional Requirements
MBBS/MBChB degree from a recognized institution.
Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council.
Valid practicing license.
Completion of Housemanship.
NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
Experience:
3 -10 years post-NYSC clinical experience (preferred).
Experience in a hospital setting is an added advantage.
Experience in emergency care, obstetrics, pediatrics, or general practice is desirable.
