Job Summary
The QA/QC Intern supports the Quality Assurance and Quality Control team in ensuring that all architectural fit-out, workspace design, construction, and installation activities comply with company standards, project specifications, industry regulations, and client requirements. The intern will assist in inspections, documentation, quality monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives across ongoing projects.
Assist in conducting quality inspections of materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and installations on project sites.
Monitor workmanship during construction, fit-out, and installation activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Participate in site quality audits and routine quality checks.
Support the identification and documentation of defects, non-conformities, and quality concerns.
Assist in verifying corrective and preventive actions taken by contractors and vendors
Maintain quality control records, inspection reports, checklists, and project documentation.
Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
Ensure proper filing and archiving of QA/QC documents.
Support the preparation of handover quality documentation and close-out reports.
Track quality observations and follow up on pending corrective actions.
Support compliance with company quality management procedures and standards.
Participate in site walkthroughs to identify quality-related issues.
Assist in ensuring installations comply with approved shop drawings and design specifications.
Monitor adherence to client quality requirements and project standards
Assist in analyzing recurring quality issues and suggesting improvement opportunities.
Requirements
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or HND in: Architecture, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Industrial Design, Construction Management, Estate Management or any related disciplines
Experience
Previous internship, industrial training, or project experience in construction, architecture, interior fit-out, or workspace design is an added advantage.

Technical Skills
Basic understanding of construction and architectural drawings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to prepare reports and maintain documentation.
