Are you a skilled and proactive maintenance professional with a passion for ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained? We invite qualified candidates to apply for the position of Maintenance Officer in our school.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of school facilities and equipment.
Carry out basic repairs and coordinate major maintenance works.
Monitor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general facility maintenance needs.
Ensure classrooms, offices, and common areas are maintained to a high standard.
Supervise external contractors and service providers where necessary.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and inventory of tools and supplies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

Candidates should possess an OND/HND/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Building Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years relevant maintenance experience.
Practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and respond promptly to maintenance issues.
Previous experience in a school or similar environment is an added advantage.
