We are seeking a skilled and creative Mixologist to join our food and beverage team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, including classic and signature cocktails, while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
The role requires strong product knowledge, creativity, and a sharp focus on hygiene and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and specialty drinks, in line with standard recipes and quality benchmarks.
Develop new and innovative drink recipes to enhance the guest experience and keep the beverage menu fresh and appealing.
Maintain proper stock levels of bar supplies, liquors, mixers, and garnishes; place timely requisitions to avoid shortages.
Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations at all times.
Engage guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations based on their preferences.
Monitor and control wastage, spillage, and over-pouring to manage costs effectively.
Accurately process orders and payments, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
Stay updated on current beverage trends, new products, and mixology techniques.
Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth coordination during peak periods and events.
Adhere strictly to responsible alcohol service practices, including age verification and identifying signs of intoxication.
Requirements
Relevant certification in mixology or bartending is an added advantage.
2-3 years' proven experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a bar, lounge, hotel, or hospitality establishment.
Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, spirits, and mixing techniques.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during high-volume periods.
Good understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service practices.
Strong attention to detail and a creative approach to beverage presentation.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
