Job Overview
We are seeking an Insulation Supervisor to oversee our insulation projects in Surrey, BC. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for managing workers, coordinating schedules, ensuring quality work, and maintaining safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
As an Insulation Supervisor at Brar Insulation Ltd., your primary responsibilities will include supervising workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, and overseeing apprenticeship training. You will be responsible for recruiting and hiring workers, conducting training sessions, and managing daily operations on-site.
Additional Responsibilities
You will be expected to set up machines and equipment, estimate costs and materials accurately, and ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed. Reading blueprints and drawings is essential to this role, as you’ll be providing leadership and instruction to a team of 3-4 individuals. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be critical to project success.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess valid First Aid and CPR certificates, along with a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Previous experience in insulation installation and supervision is highly desirable, though we are willing to train the right candidate with solid industry experience.
