Job Overview
We are currently seeking Foundation Form Workers to join our growing team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to build a long-term career in the construction industry. Work Schedule
This is a full-time, permanent position with daytime hours. The schedule will be determined based on project requirements, with work typically occurring Monday through Friday. As this is an on-site position, you’ll be working directly at our various construction locations throughout Winnipeg and the surrounding area.
Responsibilities
As a Foundation Form Worker, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to various job sites. You’ll erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as needed for each project. Your duties will also include mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure proper foundation installation.
Additional Duties
In this role, you’ll assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs as construction progresses. You’ll also participate in building demolition projects when required, helping to clean and pile salvaged materials for recycling or reuse. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for removing rubble and other debris from construction sites to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Required Experience
Successful candidates should have experience in residential construction, underground and tunnel work, and poured concrete applications. While formal education requirements are not specified, practical experience in these areas is essential. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction processes and be comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding role that requires good physical condition and stamina.
