Position Overview

As Restaurant Assistant Manager at Dragon King Restaurant, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our establishment. Key Responsibilities

The Restaurant Assistant Manager will be responsible for a wide range of duties including:

• Analyzing budgets to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
• Developing budgets to determine costs of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
• Evaluating daily operations and implementing improvements
• Modifying food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
• Monitoring staff performance and providing guidance when needed
• Planning and organizing daily operations
• Recruiting new staff members
• Setting staff work schedules
• Supervising staff during shifts
• Training staff on proper procedures and standards
• Determining types of services to be offered and implementing operational procedures
• Conducting performance reviews
• Costing products and services
• Organizing and maintaining inventory
• Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiating with clients for catering or use of facilities
• Participating in marketing plans and implementation
• Leading and instructing individuals
• Addressing customers’ complaints or concerns
• Providing excellent customer service
• Managing events (5-10 people)

Qualifications and Experience

Successful candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Food Safety Certificate (required)
• Experience with electronic cash register systems
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Experience with MS Outlook
• Familiarity with MS Windows operating system
• Experience with point of sale (POS) systems
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities

Salary and Benefits
