We are looking for an experienced and well-rounded HR Officer to support the full spectrum of human resource functions within a fast-paced HR consulting environment.
The ideal candidate is familiar with Nigerian labour law, experienced in managing end-to-end HR operations, and capable of handling multiple client accounts or internal HR mandates simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes — job posting, screening, interviewing, offer letters, and onboarding.
Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and documentation in compliance with company policy.
Administer payroll inputs, leave management, and staff benefit coordination.
Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Handle employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary proceedings, and conflict resolution.
Coordinate performance appraisal cycles and support line managers in conducting reviews.
Ensure full compliance with Nigerian Labour Law, Pension Reform Act, ITF, NSITF, and other statutory requirements.
Support learning & development initiatives; training needs analysis, scheduling, and post-training evaluation.
Requirements
B.Sc. / HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
2 – 3 years of hands-on HR experience in a structured organisation or HR consulting firm.
Demonstrated experience across core HR functions: recruitment, employee relations, payroll admin, and performance management.
Membership of CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) is required or in view.
