Key Responsibilities
As our Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining detailed records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient operations. Your role will involve demonstrating new cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff, creating innovative recipes, and instructing cooks in all aspects of food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
Special Event Catering
You will prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for various events, including banquets and special functions. This requires the ability to scale recipes, manage multiple dishes simultaneously, and maintain quality standards under pressure. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs for weddings, banquets, and specialty functions, ensuring exceptional service and memorable dining experiences.
Team Leadership
Supervising cooks and other kitchen staff is a critical aspect of this role. You’ll recruit and hire staff, train them in food preparation, cooking techniques, and handling procedures, and provide ongoing leadership and direction.
