Key Duties and Responsibilities
Calibration of cement plant Instruments, equipment and systems using latest technology.
Knowledge of PLC/SCADA/ SAP/ RCA.
Trouble shooting and guiding on Instrumentation problems, quick response to breakdown.
Ensure completion of Instrumentation maintenance jobs with highest level of quality standards in the assigned area.
Effectiveness at minimum cost to maximize equipment availability.
Lead the sustainability of team member’s compliance to ISO/ IMS (Quality, Environment & OHS) standards and to statutory requirement.
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance practices and contribute to their improvement.
Manage and motivate the technician team, ensuring co-ordination with other departments.
Manage the technician team, define the jobs and objectives, carry out their performance reviews, promote the quality of the work, motivate personnel, and facilitate communication and relationships (regular department meetings, reports to the hierarchy etc).
Ensure on-the-job training of team members, helping the development and implementation of training plans.
Review section needs, plan and maintain the spares to avoid equipment stoppage / breakdown.
Control of inventory/ spares consumption monitoring.
Ensure strict compliance to company rules.
Adhere to the jobs assigned by line managers
Ensure implementation of various modifications / Development / project for smooth running / betterment of the plant.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation, instrumentation, and control systems within the manufacturing industry.
Proficient in PLC programming and SCADA systems.
Strong understanding of process control principles and instrumentation.
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial automation equipment.
Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations pertaining to automation systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
