Food Services Ambassador – Part-Time | Indiana University Health

Indianapolis, Indiana, Overview Details: This is a part-time position, 24 hours per week. The hours for this position are 6:00AM until 12:00PM, 6:00AM until 1:00PM, and 6:00AM until 2:00PM. Team member will be required to work rotating weekends and holidays. This position is eligible for shift pay differentials. Location: IU Health University Hospital Position Summary: Serves, transports, and takes orders for food and supplies while providing a high level of satisfaction for a varied customer base. The customer base includes patients, family members, and physicians. Provides quick, accurate, and courteous service and resolution of customer concerns. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment. High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred. No experience required. Basic computer skills and knowledge of the CBORD system relative to job responsibilities preferred. Requires ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. Also, requires lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling.
