The IFRS Reporting & Database Analyst will support the IFRS Team by managing financial reporting databases, developing automated reports, optimizing data processes, and supporting reporting applications within the organization.
The role combines database management, SSRS report development, data analytics, and basic application support to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient IFRS reporting and compliance operations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong SQL and database management skills, hands-on experience with SSRS reporting tools, and a basic understanding of application development technologies including C#, Visual Basic, WebForms, and HTML.
Key Responsibilities
Database Management & Administration:
Manage, maintain, and optimize financial reporting databases.
Perform data filtering, sorting, cleansing, and validation activities.
Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies.
Support database backup, restoration, and recovery processes.
Ensure database integrity, consistency, and security.
Apply database design principles to improve system efficiency and scalability.
Support migration and integration of financial data across systems.
Work with SQL Server and related database technologies to support IFRS reporting processes.
SSRS Report Development & Management:
Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports and dashboards.
Create dynamic, parameterized, and interactive reports for finance and management teams.
Develop T-SQL queries for report generation and data extraction.
Deploy, schedule, and manage reports within SSRS environments.
Collaborate with finance stakeholders to automate IFRS reporting processes.
Ensure report accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
Present data insights using effective visualization and reporting techniques.
Data Analysis & Reporting Support:
Analyze large financial datasets to support IFRS compliance and reporting.
Generate periodic financial and regulatory reports.
Support reconciliation and validation of financial data.
Assist in identifying reporting process improvements and automation opportunities.
Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams on reporting initiatives.
Application & Technical Support:
Provide basic support for reporting applications and tools.
Assist in maintaining applications developed with C#, Visual Basic, WebForms, and HTML technologies.
Support troubleshooting and issue resolution for reporting-related applications.
Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and testing activities.
Support integration between reporting tools and internal systems.

Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 2.2.
Experience:
2–4 years’ experience in database management, SSRS reporting, or financial systems support.
Experience within fintech, financial services, banking, or IFRS reporting environments is an added advantage.
