Manager, Orbital Analysis
Meet SlingshotÂ
At Slingshot Aerospace, we’re on a mission to make space safer and more secure for everyone. Our work directly impacts global security, disaster response, climate monitoring, and the critical infrastructure that connects our world. We’re a team of builders, thinkers, and problem-solvers who believe that the next generation of space operations will be powered by better data and smarter software.Â
What You’ll Be LaunchingÂ
As the Manager, Orbital Analysis, you will lead a globally distributed team delivering Slingshot’s Space Domain Awareness (SDA) operations. Leveraging data from the Slingshot Global Sensor Network (GSN) and additional sensor sources, your team will provide operational analyses, mission insights, and customer support to commercial, civil, and government partners worldwide.Â
This role combines people leadership, operational oversight, and technical guidance in a fast-paced mission environment. You will oversee day-to-day analyst operations, customer deliverables, and mission execution while partnering closely with technology and program teams to improve workflows and operational readiness.Â
We’re looking for a collaborative and mission-oriented leader who thrives in operational environments, enjoys developing high-performing teams, and is passionate about advancing the future of space domain awareness.Â
We’re building a team of curious, collaborative people who care deeply about solving complex problems and supporting safer space operations. Bring your operational expertise, leadership mindset, and drive for continuous improvement. We’ll provide the mission, the team, and the opportunity to make meaningful impact.Â

- Engage regularly with government, civil, and commercial customers to provide mission updates, operational support, and technical guidanceÂ
- Review and validate analysis products and customer deliverables to ensure operational accuracy, consistency, and qualityÂ
- Serve as Slingshot’s Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) on GSN data sale contractsÂ
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, mission readiness, and customer satisfactionÂ
- Manage analyst workloads, team priorities, operational metrics, and mission timelines to support successful execution of customer requirementsÂ
- Support surge or after-hours operational activities during critical mission events when requiredÂ
- Oversee workflows supporting space domain awareness, sensor tasking, orbital event assessment, conjunction analysis, and customer reportingÂ
- Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development activities for the Orbital Analyst teamÂ
