We are currently seeking a skilled Hairstylist to join our team at our Brandon, Manitoba location. Compensation Package

This position offers an hourly wage of $16.32, with a commitment of 32 to 40 hours per week. Work Schedule

Education Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid Hairstylist License to be considered for this position. Experience Requirements

Core Responsibilities

As a hairstylist at Chatters Salon, your primary responsibilities will include advising clients on beauty care treatments, analyzing hair and scalp conditions, and providing personalized hair solutions. You’ll be expected to cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences while offering professional suggestions for styles that complement their physical features.

Client Services

You will provide a range of services including shampooing customers’ hair, shaving and trimming beards and mustaches, and applying various treatments like scalp conditioning massages. Additional services include applying bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair, as well as applying hair extensions for clients seeking length or volume.

Technical Expertise

Your role will require technical proficiency in cutting, trimming, tapering, curling, waving, perming, and styling hair. You’ll need to stay current with the latest trends and techniques in hairstyling to provide clients with contemporary looks while ensuring their hair remains healthy and beautiful.

Customer Consultation

A key aspect of this position is consulting with clients to understand their needs and preferences. You’ll provide expert advice on hair care products and treatments, recommend styles that suit their lifestyle, and educate clients on maintaining their hairstyles between salon visits.
