Job Overview
We are seeking qualified Industrial Electricians to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $40.50 and the opportunity to work on diverse industrial projects throughout Toronto and the surrounding areas. The position is based in Inglewood, ON L7C 0T6 and requires on-site work. We have two vacancies available to be filled as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Installation Work
As an Industrial Electrician with Elite Electrical Solutions Ltd., you will be responsible for installing electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components in industrial settings. You will assemble fibre-optic and coaxial cables and install and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices according to specifications.
Equipment Testing and Maintenance
You will test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance to ensure proper functioning. This includes maintaining, repairing, installing, and testing switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors. You will also be responsible for maintaining, repairing, testing, and installing electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
Troubleshooting and Repair
A key aspect of this role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices. You will diagnose problems, determine the root cause, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of industrial equipment.
Code Compliance and Documentation
You will interpret electrical code specifications and ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and standards. This includes reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. Additionally, you will conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain detailed maintenance records.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
