Within the personal care market, we are very visible with brands like Lux and Pears to help you look and feel good.The Engineering Supervisor oversees daily engineering operations, ensures compliance with technical standards, manages a team of engineers/technicians, and drives continuous improvement in processes, safety, and productivity. Also responsible for the design, operation, maintenance, and optimization of utility systems (such as power, water, HVAC, compressed air, steam, and diesel) to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient support for organizational operations.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Team Leadership
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate engineers and technicians.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of projects within the utility space.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Project & Operations Management
Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects from design to execution.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Review technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
Technical Oversight
Provide guidance on engineering methods, tools, and best practices.
Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Shadow as line focus engineering to deliver optimal efficiency across packing and process line.
Ability to lead a detail RCA, EWO to crash BD, MTTR, MTBF
Safety & Compliance
Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to optimize processes and reduce costs.
Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other efficiency initiatives.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
HND / Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or mechatronics).
5–8 years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and safety standards.
Proficiency in CAD software, project management tools, and MS Office.
Strong knowledge of utility systems (power distribution, HVAC, boilers, chillers, water treatment, etc.).
Proficiency in engineering software and MS Office tools.
Familiarity with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
