We are seeking a skilled and proactive Junior Mechanical Technician to support maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment to ensure smooth production operations and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment
Support troubleshooting and repair of machines during breakdowns
Monitor equipment performance and report faults promptly
Assist with installation and servicing of mechanical systems and components
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
Support shutdown and maintenance activities when required
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
Adhere to workplace safety and operational procedures
Requirements
OND / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 2-3 years experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage
Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good problem-solving and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and grow within the role
