The IT Administrative Officer provides essential administrative and coordination support to the IT Department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
The role focuses on managing Corporate User Group (CUG) lines, handling basic IT-related administrative tasks, and supporting internal communication and documentation within the team.
This position is suited for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working at the intersection of IT and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
CUG & Telecom Management:
Manage and maintain all Corporate User Group (CUG) lines across the organization
Coordinate new line requests, activations, upgrades, and deactivations
Monitor CUG usage and liaise with service providers on issues, renewals, and billing
Maintain an up-to-date database of all assigned lines and users
Support cost control and proper allocation of telecom resources
IT Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the IT team
Maintain records of IT assets, requests, and documentation
Assist in preparing reports, memos, and internal communications
Track departmental expenses and support invoice processing
Schedule meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points
Coordination & Documentation:
Act as a liaison between IT and other departments for administrative requests
Ensure proper documentation and filing of IT policies, procedures, and records
Support onboarding and offboarding processes from an IT administrative perspective
Assist in vendor coordination for routine administrative matters
Inventory & Asset Tracking:
Maintain logs of IT equipment and accessories
Support asset allocation and retrieval processes
Assist with periodic inventory checks and reconciliation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any relevant field
2–3 years’ experience in an administrative or support role (IT exposure is an advantage)
Basic understanding of telecom/CUG management is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
