History.
Mikano International is a limited liability company incorporated in Nigeria on the 13th February 1995 to engage in all aspects of generator business. From a small beginning in Ikeja, Lagos, to being the leading power solution provider in Nigeria employing over 1600 employees both indigenous and expatriates in various fields.
Today, the company has experienced a spectacular growth through the latest technology and increased its product range to its assembly line of Generators both Diesel and Gas from 9kva to 5000 kva. The company’s STEEL FABRICATION DIVISION fabricates sound proof canopies for all the generators using the latest technology machines.Job Objectives:
To achieve maximum performance within assigned period by putting in your best to ensure that targets are met and required reports are made on time. To make sure Gen-sets wired are done in accordance to company standard.
Responsibilities:
To be knowledgeable in both Mechanical and Electrical aspect of the job
To test the gen-setperfectly
Design, develop, test and supervise assembling of electrical component on gen-sets, machines and other related jobs.
To ensure that loading machine is in good condition, clean and working perfectly.
Troubleshooting of Electrical devices and resolving Electrical faults
Positioning of the load bank near the control panel to enable easy reading and bank cable should be properly tightened on the control panel and the load bank.
To ensure all load bank operators have knowledge about load tests of all gen-set capacity.
To ensure at all times that Diesel tanks and batteries are properly cleaned before switching on the equipment.
To ensure all the parts of the gen. set are properly tightened and availability of Oil/ water as required.
Check for any abnormal noise from any part of the gen-set, leakages of oil, water, and diesel or air before loading the gen.
To check the model controller reading (voltage, oil pressure, water temperature, battery, battery volt etc.).
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Gen-Sets Production.
Certificate Of Artisanship / City and Guild Craft certificate,
OND, HND, B. Electrical Engineering field.
