Distributor Developer (Ibadan) at International Breweries
International Breweries Plc was incorporated in December 1971 by its founder and first Chairman, Dr. Lawrence Omole under the name International Breweries Limited. The Company commenced production of its flagship product Trophy Lager in December 1978 with an installed capacity of 200,000 hectoliters per annum.
Following the increasing demand for its products, in December 1982 the Company embarked on an expansion programme to increase its capacity to 500,000 hectoliters annually. The company was listed on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange in April 1995.The key purpose of this role is to manage and develop relationships with existing and potential Distributors in line with the 3rd party distribution strategy to meet distribution targets.
Key Outputs and Responsibilities:
Ensure distribution strategy and plans are understood for execution.
Monitoring and tracking of RTIs.
Conduct periodic Stock count.
Ensure accuracy of Distributor stock position on Kuja.
Tracking and timely reporting of Stock age across DB warehouses.
Stable distribution network is aligned with company strategy.
Ensure periodic account reconciliation [Monthly]
Ability to influence sell-in of focus brands
The distributor’s logistics infrastructure is aligned with company requirements.
All information regarding competition is collated and communicated
Distributor Management process is established for the area
Distributors understand commercial terms with the company for the benefit of both parties
Conduct analysis of distributor performance.
Monitor distributor financial performance/profitability.
Monitor distributor financial performance/profitability.
Assist Distributors in developing strategies to minimize costs.
Assist on all Kuja and Kuja Shop related activities. Be the point of contact and solve its issues.
Ensure Kuja usage, quality of usage and Manage reports from Kuja to feed the into Management information System [MIS] for monthly business meetings
Liaise with Distribution Services to support identified areas of business development.
Influence Distributor loyalty
Facilitate receipt of requested information from distributors.
Develop relationships to ensure that the company is the preferred supplier.
Reports are periodically issued.

Good Knowledge of Kuja & SAP.
Good knowledge of distributors' environment in allocated area.

Profile: Education
Minimum of a first degree
B.Sc. / HND in Business Administration, or any other related field
Experience
Minimum of 3 years’ related sales experience
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office applications i.e. (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
