We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to join Ericsson. In this role, you will serve as the primary interface between Ericsson and our valued customers, building strong, long-term partnerships while driving sustainable business growth.
You will leverage Ericsson's world-class portfolio — including RAN, Core Network, BSS/OSS, and Managed Services — to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs and exceed their expectations.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our customers' digital transformation journeys while contributing directly to Ericsson's commercial success across your assigned accounts.
What you will do
Own and manage end-to-end customer relationships as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
Develop, maintain, and execute strategic account plans aligned with both customer objectives and Ericsson's business strategy
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth
Lead contract negotiations and ensure profitable deal closure in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Lead and manage local contract signing for all Group deals and Proof of Concepts (POCs) with assigned accounts
Interfacing with OpCo on a regular basis for ongoing and new opportunities
Leading deals through close interface with the GCU team for PS Core, MS for PS Core, and upcoming Antenna and MW opportunities specific to Nigeria
Work with domain teams for any support or technical issues requiring resolution, including services costing
Account operations – manage deals up to date in Salesforce
PO to SO Process, Secure LC waiver, credit block approval and alignment, and secure NOTAP and CCI approvals for Core SW, Early Starts etc
Execute monthly customer governance for the Core and IN projects
Manage ad-hoc commercial, technical, and contractual tasks related to the Airtel account
Lead and coordinate as ACR for responses to RFPs on any new opportunities from other CSPs as assigned (Glo is following up for engagement with us)
Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address any concerns or escalations
Represent Ericsson at customer meetings, industry forums, and business reviews
Requirements
The skills you bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development within the telecommunications or technology industry
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills at senior levels
Deep understanding of telecom products, solutions, and services — RAN, Core Network, BSS/OSS, and Managed Services is a strong advantage
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks, including NOTAP, CCI, and LC processes in relevant markets
Experience managing deals and pipelines through Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
Strong negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills
Collaborative mindset with the ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams
Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix organization
