Position Details
This is a seasonal, full-time position requiring 40 to 60 hours per week, with overtime as needed. Job Responsibilities
As a vegetable farm worker, your primary responsibilities will include grading vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to ensure they fetch high prices in the market. You will also be responsible for hand harvesting vegetables and participating in crop harvesting operations. These tasks require attention to detail and physical stamina.
Harvesting Duties
Hand harvesting involves carefully selecting mature crops at their peak quality, cutting or pulling them from plants, and placing them in appropriate containers for transportation. This work requires knowledge of proper harvesting techniques to minimize damage to crops and maintain product quality.
