Job Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive annual salary of $49,000. The role involves supervising front desk operations, managing staff, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality at our Kamloops location.

Work Schedule
This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including early morning, evening, and night shifts. The full-time position involves working 40 hours per week, with shifts distributed across various times of day to ensure 24/7 coverage for our guests. The position starts as soon as possible for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
As Hotel Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures, guest inquiries, and complaint resolution. You will manage a team of front desk staff, provide training and guidance, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain accurate guest records and billing information.
Staff Management
You will be responsible for scheduling, supervising, and evaluating front desk staff. This includes conducting regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback, and addressing any operational issues promptly. You will foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and exceptional service delivery.
Guest Relations
Building and maintaining strong relationships with guests is a key aspect of this role. You will handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring all guests have a positive experience during their stay. You will also coordinate with other hotel departments to address any special requests or requirements from guests.
Operational Excellence
Maintaining high operational standards is essential. You will ensure all front desk procedures are followed accurately, manage inventory of supplies, handle cash and credit transactions securely, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. You will also implement and monitor quality control measures to enhance the guest experience.
Administrative Duties
Administrative responsibilities include maintaining accurate guest records, processing payments, managing reservations, and generating reports as needed. You will also handle communication with other hotel departments, vendors, and management to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.
Qualifications and Requirements
While specific education requirements are not specified, candidates with previous experience in hotel front desk operations or customer service management are preferred. Experience in a supervisory capacity within the hospitality industry would be highly advantageous.
Language Skills
