The East Africa economies have been recorded more than 5% annual growth over the last decade. However, advanced technology innovation and strategic management are still vital for local enterprise to evolve to regional leading companies and create sustainable employment.
On the other side, Japanese companies are still less equipped to grasp demand and establish commercial networks in African and other emerging markets in terms of both human resources and experiences.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiating cold calls with potential customers over the phone.
Asking questions to engage customers and keep the conversation going.
Regular follow up with potential customer to ensure closed deal.
Keeping up to date on all products and informing customers of new products.
Answering customers' questions on the product
Update contacts database when necessary
COMPETENCY REQUIRED (Knowledge and Skills)
Great interpersonal & telephone communication skills with a clear confident speaking voice
Persuasiveness, patience & persistence
Optimistic attitude, high energy
Good sales ability.
Working knowledge of relevant computer software.
Polite and friendly disposition
Thorough understanding of products and services
QUALIFICATION (Education and Experience)
First Degree in an accredited university
1 – 2 Years cognate B2B work experience in Sales, marketing or Customer Service role
