It was established in the year 2005 and commenced production of corrugated carton boxes. The flexible packaging arm of the business (BOPP) was introduced in the year 2011 with the first line while CPP production came into being in the year 2019.Our second line of 8.7 meter width was commissioned in 2022.Job Description
Shift management
Assist Packing and Logistics officer in day to day activities of the department and compliance of the same
Supervising and maintaining the quality of work done.
Co-ordinate with Slitting supervisor for running production and arranging packing materials accordingly.
Ensure to pack the goods as per customers specifications stated in the SO or POP
Giving immediate feedback for any challenge and suggest the solution
Ensure uses of correct packing materials and packages as per packing/loading plan
Maintain shift orders and discipline
Generating loading list as per dispatch plan
Sorting of material as per loading list and shifting to dispatch area
Ensure suitability of trucks for loading i.e floor and body of the truck is good
Picking of correct goods in loading list which actually loading and ensure all picked material is being loaded.
Generation of packing list for the loaded goods.
Ensures the truck is properly covered after loading
Ensures proper handling of goods by packers/loaders to have zero damage
Follow up with maintenance team for up keeping packaging and handling tools
Issuance of stores item / packing materials in time
Compliance of safety rules by all packers and loaders
Adequate house keeping
Other duties as assigned.
Competency Requirements
Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s Degree with 4 years experience.
Ability to comprehend instructions to packers and loaders
Basic understanding of Mathematical measuring formulas
Knowledge of Excel
Ability to work with little supervision
Self motivation.
