Excellent knowledge of large or bulk food preparation
The cook will be responsible for preparing delicious and nutritious meals especially African delicacies including soups, Nkwobi, Isiewu, Jollof, Fried and White rice.
Good knowledge of continental dishes
The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of various culinary techniques.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food preparation meets food safety and hygiene standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and work area.
Monitor food stock levels and communicate inventory needs.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements
Excellent knowledge and experience for local food preparations ranging from soups to local fingered food
Proven experience as a Cook with certification from a culinary school or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, frying, boiling, etc.).
Understanding of food safety regulations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
