Lead subsurface evaluation and interpretation activities, with responsibility for reserves growth, production optimization, and value delivery across exploration, appraisal, and development assets. The role drives integration across geology, geophysics, reservoir engineering, and drilling, supporting well placement and field development decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead geological and geophysical interpretation of subsurface data to support exploration, appraisal, and development activities.
Interpret seismic data and well logs to identify hydrocarbon opportunities and define reservoir structures.
Drive reservoir characterization and field development planning to maximize recovery and asset value.
Collaborate with reservoir engineers, drilling, and production teams to optimize well placement and field performance.
Contribute to reserves estimation, maturation, and production forecasting.
Provide subsurface input into exploration, appraisal, and production strategies.
Ensure effective integration of subsurface data and models across disciplines.
Review and validate third-party studies and technical outputs, ensuring quality and alignment with asset objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5–10 years experience in geoscience roles within upstream exploration and production.
Strong expertise in seismic interpretation, structural mapping, and reservoir characterization.
Proven experience contributing to reserves development and production optimization.
Demonstrated ability to work within integrated subsurface teams.
Proficiency with industry-standard geoscience interpretation software.
Experience reviewing and validating external technical studies and datasets.
QUALIFICATIONS
MSc or higher in Geology, Geophysics, or related Geoscience discipline.
