Plant Care and Maintenance
A significant portion of your role will involve watering and tending to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure their health and vitality. You will be responsible for monitoring soil moisture levels, identifying signs of plant stress or disease, and implementing appropriate care strategies. This includes proper watering techniques, fertilization, soil amendment, and general garden maintenance. Your attention to detail and horticultural knowledge will be essential in maintaining the health and appearance of all plant materials under your care.
Treatment Application
You will apply various treatments to maintain plant health and address landscape issues. This includes pruning to shape plants and remove dead or damaged material, spraying for pest and disease control, repairing damaged areas of turf or hardscaping, and injecting treatment solutions directly into trees for targeted pest or disease management. All treatments must be applied according to industry best practices, with careful attention to environmental impact and safety protocols.
Lawn Assessment and Care
Assessing the health of lawns is a critical responsibility that involves identifying issues such as disease, pests, nutrient deficiencies, or cultural problems. You will develop and implement appropriate treatment plans to address these issues and promote healthy turf growth. This may include aeration, overseeding, fertilization, pest management, and irrigation adjustments. Your ability to diagnose lawn problems accurately and implement effective solutions will be key to maintaining our clients’ satisfaction.
Planning and Coordination
