Our client is a youth-led social enterprise advocating against sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), providing prevention mechanisms and supporting survivors with psychosocial services. The organization adopts a comprehensive approach to advocating for gender equality and eliminating gender-based violence in Nigeria. The organization invests efficient time into work and aspires for excellence in program development, implementation & evaluation, including sustainability approaches.
Overview:
Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is central to the organization\'s future. The Program and Business Development Manager leads resource mobilization, program design and innovation, project management, partnership development, impact evaluation, and strategic planning. The position is responsible for translating the organisation’s vision into bold, sustainable programs and partnerships that deepen impact across Nigeria and globally. The Manager ensures that programs are survivor-centered, data-driven, and strategically positioned for long-term growth and funding.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management (60%)
Lead the development, execution and management of the organisation\'s annual budgeting process, financial strategy, & multi-year forecasting in close coordination with the finance team.
Experience working in emergency and humanitarian contexts and environments.
Design, implement, and evaluate programs in line with the organisational strategic plan and mission, including developing technical reports.
Lead organisational strategy development, research, M & E, and knowledge management.
Lead strategic partnerships across sectors (government, donors, private sector, CSOs and international development organisations) and representation in relevant clusters e.g. GBV, protection.
Ensure program alignment with national policies, global trends, and survivor needs.
Oversee research, advocacy, and policy initiatives that drive system-level change.
Build the capacity of program staff around humanitarian emergency service provision.
Manage a team of project officers, M&E specialists, and partnership officers where applicable.
Report on program effectiveness, scale readiness, and sustainability to the Executive Director.
Business Development (40%)
Oversee Resource Mobilization and Growth: Lead grant writing and proposal development, drive donor engagement and relationship management, secure new funding opportunities, and support new business development to strengthen the organisation’s financial sustainability and growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies,
Humanitarian Studies or a related field.
Certification in project management, humanitarian service delivery.
Experience with working with UN agencies, private philanthropic organisations, bi and multilateral donors.
5–7 years of program leadership experience, with strong M&E and partnership development expertise and 2 years in a leadership role within a nonprofit.
Proven success in developing and scaling programs, managing donor relations, and policy influence.
Exceptional communication, storytelling, and cross-sector negotiation skills.
Ability to think big-picture and translate strategy into results.
