Officer. The Warehouse Officer will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and
dispatch of FMCG products and raw materials. The role ensures accurate inventory control, proper
documentation, product integrity, and compliance with company procedures, health & safety, and
quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations
â Receive, inspect, and properly record incoming raw materials and finished goods.
â Ensure correct storage, stacking, and labeling of products in line with FIFO/FEFO principles.
â Coordinate picking, packing, and dispatch of goods to distributors and customers.
â Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the warehouse.
2. Inventory Control & Documentation
â Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems or stock cards.
â Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in monthly and annual stock takes.
â Investigate and report stock variances, damages, or losses.
â Prepare and maintain warehouse documentation including GRNs, delivery notes, and
waybills.
3. Quality, Safety & Compliance
â Ensure proper handling and storage conditions to prevent product damage or expiry.
â Comply with HSE, GMP, and company quality standards.
â Support internal and external audits by ensuring proper records and stock integrity.
â Enforce safety rules and correct use of warehouse equipment.
4. Coordination & Reporting
â Liaise with Production, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure timely availability and dispatch of
goods.
â Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and dispatch reports.
â Escalate stock shortages, near-expiry items, or operational issues promptly.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
â Inventory accuracy.
â Stock variance / shrinkage rate.
â Order picking and dispatch accuracy.
â On-time order dispatch rate.
â FIFO/FEFO compliance level.
â Damaged and expired stock percentage.
â Warehouse turnaround time (receiving to dispatch).
â Audit compliance score.
â Housekeeping and safety compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
â Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related
field.
â Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations, preferably in an FMCG
environment.
â Experience with inventory control, stock documentation, and warehouse procedures.
â Familiarity with basic ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage.

â Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory systems).
â Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
