The Pharmacy Technician will assist in medication preparation, inventory control, prescription processing, and customer service while ensuring accuracy, safety, and confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescribed medications accurately.
Prepare and label medications under supervision.
Manage inventory, stock rotation, and expiry monitoring.
Maintain proper documentation of prescriptions and transactions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Provide courteous customer service to patients and clients.
Support daily pharmacy administrative duties.
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician/Pharmaceutical Technology.
Must be registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) with a valid practicing license.
Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ relevant experience.
Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products and dispensing procedures.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer proficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
