Key Responsibilities
As an Insulation Supervisor at Brar Insulation Ltd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of insulation projects. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising workers and project timelines to ensure all assignments are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate and schedule daily activities, allocate resources effectively, and maintain clear communication channels between team members, clients, and management.
Team Leadership & Training
You will be responsible for overseeing apprenticeship training programs, helping to develop the next generation of insulation professionals in Canada. This includes recruiting and hiring qualified workers, conducting interviews, and making informed staffing decisions. Additionally, you will train or arrange for training programs to ensure all team members maintain current knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and new insulation technologies.
Project Management
The Insulation Supervisor position requires strong project management skills, including the ability to set up machines and equipment properly, estimate costs and materials accurately, and manage project budgets effectively. You will read blueprints and drawings with precision, ensuring all installations meet technical specifications and building codes.
