Successful candidates will support laboratory and field-testing activities in compliance with international standards.
Job Summary
The Laboratory Assistant will support laboratory operations by preparing samples, maintaining equipment, and assisting technicians during laboratory and field-testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Sample preparation (drying, crushing, splitting, and labeling).
Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment (sieves, molds, ovens, balances).
Casting and proper demoulding of concrete cubes.
Assist technicians during heavy field testing activities.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
Support inventory management of materials and consumables.
Ensure adherence to safety procedures at all times.
Requirements – Laboratory Assistant
Minimum of SSCE/OND in Engineering or related discipline.
1–3 years’ experience in a construction laboratory (preferred).
Physically fit for field assignments.
Basic understanding of laboratory safety practices.
Ability to follow instructions and work within a team.
