From its maiden advent in Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing in the mid-80′s, the Group diversified into bulk importation of Industrial Chemicals, affordable Pharmaceuticals and Surgicals, Commodities, Polyethylenes, Automobiles, Electronics and White Goods. In continuing with the Group’s philosophy of leading by example, the successful commissioning of a Plastics Plant for household products in the year 2000 was followed by the setting up of a Pharmaceutical Formulation Plant and a Table Water Bottling Plant in 2003. Dana Group also acquired Steel Rolling Mill in Katsina to produce debars and wire rods, which was a high point in 2006.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across financial, operational, and HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
Verification of accounting vouchers, supporting documentation, and physical cash balances
Conduct internal audits
Scrutiny and analysis of operational and administrative expenses
Verification of bank reconciliation statements and intercompany reconciliations
Physical verification of stock and fixed assets; raising audit queries and preparing audit notes for HODs
Verification of sales invoices, pricing, debtor credit limits, discounts, and sales promotions
Review and analysis of daily production reports
Production wastage and power consumption analysis
Raising audit queries and following up for resolution
Preparation of Quarterly Audit Reports
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant audit experience (manufacturing experience is an added advantage)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
Strong report writing and communication skills
