Through the construction and operation of large scale manufacturing facilities in Nigeria and across Africa, the Group is focused on building local manufacturing capacity to generate employment and provide goods for the people.The Store Manager supervises day-to-day store operations under the guidance of the Head of Store, ensuring accurate stock management, safety, and adherence to company policies. The role monitors inventory movement, coordinates stock replenishment, manages stock reconciliations, and supports timely postings before period close.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to visual standards.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures within the store.
Maintain accurate stock levels, monitor stock movement, and prevent shrinkage.
Coordinate stock replenishment and manage opening and closing routines.
Review daily stock receipts and issues, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
Conduct monthly and quarterly stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Monitor store reservations and postings, ensuring all Material Management (MM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) postings are completed before period close.
Reconcile stock issuance versus postings for Tyres, AGO, and spare parts.
Settle TECO workshop orders, including: KC08G (General settlement), KO88 (Single order settlement), and KOC4 (Running data settlement into costing and financial ledgers).
Prepare duty rosters, manage attendance, and coach employees to improve performance.
Requirements
Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CIM, PMP) will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in retail, stores, warehouse, or inventory management, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
Experience managing staff performance, scheduling, and discipline.
Experience working with SAP ERP .
