Key Responsibilities
As a Truck Driver with LS MOTOR FREIGHT INC., you will have a diverse range of responsibilities including operating straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, and overseeing the condition of your vehicle including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
Vehicle Maintenance
You will be responsible for performing basic maintenance tasks on your vehicle, including brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs when necessary. Preventive maintenance is a key aspect of this role to ensure the reliability and safety of our fleet. Your attention to detail in maintaining your vehicle will contribute to our operational efficiency and safety record.
Cargo Handling
Responsibilities include loading and unloading goods, tarping to ensure the safety and security of cargo during transit, and properly recording cargo information. You will also be responsible for transporting and handling dangerous goods according to all applicable regulations and safety protocols. Documentation and Compliance
